This is place is a gem and wee holdover from when Seattle had a vibrant downtown filled with great restaurants. I always bring out-of-town guests here. The food is excellent, the vibe is perfect. It's quiet enough and I never feel like I'm shouting to be heard. I recommend the house specials but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu

little hidden gem in belltown. you wouldnt know there was an amazing slice of italy with a gorgeous front patio and fountain behind the fence and greenery. ive been here many times and service is always amazing. i went on the wrong day for my reservation once and they still sat me in my preferred seating (outside) and i really appreciated that. food is 10/10. from the housemade bread to the pesto pasta that tastes like pesto mixed with alfredo sauce with how much parm is there. with their pine nuts and the noodles taste hand made as well. my friend got their spaghetti and chicken parm that she loved. more on the pricey end but very great for a night out and its worth the price for ambiance, service and quality.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've been going here for something like 20 years now. Their food is always excellent. I've never had a bad meal or a bad experience here. On the contrary, their regular offerings on the menu are consistently dependable, and the specials they offer are often truly remarkable. The service is always friendly and efficient. Their pastas are great, my husband adores their vegetable risotto. I've had more than one of their veal dishes, which were all delicious. I remember one night where I ordered their special, which was a lamb dish and had these amazing little roasted potatoes on the side. The entire dish was delicious, but those potatoes...! Pockets of heaven, crispy on the outside and pillow on the inside. One of those meals that you never forget. -I also highly recommend that you get a cannoli! They have some of the best cannoli I've ever had. The ambience is wonderful. Inside it feels like an old-fashioned Italian place like Sinatra would've gone to. Exposed brick, candles, etc. Occasionally, they will have a piano player for some live music. And in the warmer months, they put small tables around the fountain in the square outside. It's cozy, and even better, it's very romantic. Perfect spot for an anniversary dinner or Valentine's Day! It's one of the better Italian places in Seattle, and I can't recommend it more! Perhaps the only negative is that parking is not the easiest, but there is a paid lot just across the street. Not cheap but at least it's there. All in all, don't sweat the parking, just go and have a wonderful time!

My daughter sent me this restaurant as a suggestion so I booked it for our 12 year wedding anniversary. Having never heard of it, but seeing it had good reviews I figured why not. When my wife and I arrived we were greeted warmly and asked if it was our anniversary. Upon sitting down we were given menus and a candle was lit at our table. When wine was offered I informed them I didn't drink and they stated they could do a mocktail - I opted for one of those and selected mango for the flavor. While I appreciated the effort it was like a Kerns juice over ice. It could have easily been diluted with sprite or soda water 50:50 to make it more "mocktail"esque. For a started we got the burrata salad, which had a wonderful balsamic dressing. For meals I opted for the prawns alla trapanese whereas my wife got the risotto ai funghi. Both were spectacular and large enough we have leftovers that would suffice as another meal. For dessert we went with both the tiramisu (a huge favorite of ours) and tartuffo gelato. The tiramisu was to be expected, though noting it is put together when ordered so the flavors don't really have the time to marry together. The Tartuffo Gelato almost tasted frost bitten. When it first came to the table it was very hard - if you know gelato it's traditionally less hard/cold than ice cream. I let it warm but a bit and tried again and got the frost bitten flavor. Without that, it could have been spectacular. A couple misses but they get a solid 4 stars anyway - they also had a nice touch with a thank you card telling us happy anniversary and thank you for choosing them. This is the smallest investment that really puts a bow on the experience, I'm surprised more restaurants don't pick it up. We will be back :)
